Welcome to my site. I am an American photographer located in Southern California. Exploring and observing everyday aspects of people, places and things, I strive to present unique, relatively unadulterated perspectives that convey what I view as the extraordinary within the otherwise ordinary. I wander and explore more than what is planned, with most of my work driven by my own passion to photograph the unexpected and that which is so often overlooked. I am always open to explore collaborative opportunities which allow me to further develop my own creative style, techniques and voice.
My latest endeavors include experimenting with and incorporating projections, fabrics, lighting, bodies and objects into what I refer to as “Light Projections”, capturing particular ethereal feelings and emotions in compositions created entirely before shutter release. What I am referring to are images created within a single shutter release as opposed to importing and layering elements not in the original studio captures.
